Wedding Party Favors - Part 3
Posted on | July 11, 2011 |
Yes, part 3. I don’t want to overwhelm you with huge posts that ramble on (and I do tend to ramble), so I’ll probably have lots more posts with multiple parts:). When it comes to the groomsmen, your options are not quite as vast. Some of the more popular items center around drinking. They have beer mugs, flasks, shot glasses and the like that can be personalized. These are great gifts that will be used after the wedding and are a keepsake as well, I’d guess that’s one of the reasons they are so popular.
If you don’t want to go the drinking route, there are still other options. Cuff links are always a nice touch. Cuff links are not used as commonly as they once were, so many men don’t have them. You can go with engraved items as well. Lighters, cigar holders, golf balls, money clips, just because there are not as many items as you have for the bridesmaids doesn’t mean you don’t have lots of choices. You can also opt for gift cards as well. Things like tickets for sports events or a day of golf are great ideas if you have the money.
What ever you choose, what ever your budget, don’t hem and haw over a few extra bucks. While you want to stick to your budget, this is the one really special thing you give to your friends and family. They have given you their time and support, have spent money on many things associated with your wedding and will also give you a gift. Think about your options really hard before you skimp on them.
There are other areas that would be more beneficial for you to cut back on. You can get really special gifts at a great price. I’m not saying to spend $150 on a gift if you are budgeted for $50.00. I’m saying if you are budgeted for $50.00 and something great is $75.00 go for it. You may very well regret not doing the right thing by your friends and family now.
The Knot Wedding Shop has the best selection of wedding favors, as well as bridesmaids and groomsmen gifts. Make them unique for your wedding with free personalization.
