free_1415850 The type of wedding you have will determine how much and what kind of decorating will be involved when planning your wedding. This can range from simply having centerpieces to having things hang from the ceiling. No matter what kind of wedding you choose when it comes to the decorating (and decor) there will be a lot of little details you want to think about.

If you have your wedding at a professional wedding hall, they have done much of the work for you already. These halls are designed to create an atmosphere and ambiance that will suit most weddings. You usually have to pick the color of your linens or decide on whether or not to use chair covers to make it a little fancier, but that’s about it when it comes to the layout. Chairs, tables, dishes, glasses - all that type of stuff is supplied and if you have choices they will be addressed by your wedding coordinator.

A good wedding coordinator will help you and remind of of your options. You will always have to decide on what your tables will look like, but I’ll go into more detail with that later. This is one of the perks of paying the extra money for a professional wedding hall. You will spend much less time on some of the smaller details, many of them are already taken care of and you don’t need to make a choice.

If you don’t have that luxury and are getting married in a smaller place or a plainer hall, you will have to consider what you would like to do. What size tables as well as what shapes. Do you have a choice of chairs and do you want to cover them. What style, quality and color of the tablecloths and linens. You also need to make sure you place the tables in a manner that makes it easy for your guests to move around and mingle. Do you need a tent and a floor?

If you are doing everything yourself try to find a company that does multiple things. For instance if you do need a tent, try to get the floor, tables, chairs, glasses, dishes, silverware etc. from the same place. It will save you lots of trouble and aggravation from running around and dealing with multiple vendors.
