Wedding Centerpieces

When it comes to wedding centerpieces you choices are endless. First you need to decide what type of centerpiece you are looking for, and what your budget is. I’ll be honest, most of the time I am trying to come up with inexpensive ways to make beautiful things. Flowers are always a beautiful way to go. You can put them in all different size containers to set the tone of what you are looking for. I will recommend that you are conscious of the height of your centerpieces. Many brides go for large, tall centerpieces that really make a statement. While this look can be beautiful, you want to take into consideration the interaction of your guests at the table. You don’t want the height of your centerpiece to get in the way of conversation. I will confess that I have been to weddings where someone at the table has moved or even eliminated the centerpiece so that they could see what was going on at the wedding and have conversations with other guests.
Whether you are going for a classic, formal look or want to take a more laid back approach, I love candles as part of your centerpiece. You can incorporate tall tapers, or put smaller tea lights into the setting. You can add them to flower centerpieces or set them up alone. Whatever way you choose to do it, candles set a mood and give off a nice atmosphere.
