Dollar Stores

I know that I have talked about dollar stores in other posts, but I was just at one the other day and felt the need to remind you about it. I was there to pick up a few things and, as I do whenever I am shopping, I checked around to see what would be good to use at a wedding.

Now the dollar store I was at was Dollar Tree. It is by far the best dollar store out there. Now that doesn’t mean you can’t get good stuff at other dollars stores, you can. I would just recommend that you visit Dollar Tree whenever possible.

Now you won’t be able to get everything there, not even close. But you do have a good shot at finding some things you can use. If you do find them, be sure you can use it (you can’t return anything to dollar stores) and get it right away. That’s another bad thing about the dollar stores. You can never be sure it’s an item that they keep in stock so if you don’t get it, it may be gone.

What I saw when I was there were boxes for favors. They had tons of bags and other items to put favors in too. They also had items you could use to plan a bridal shower or bachelorette party. They had a whole section dedicated to brides and weddings. While you will always have to spend money, weddings are such a big expense it doesn’t hurt to try to get a bargain when you can.
