Cheap wedding dresses

When I say cheap wedding dresses I am not talking about the quality or style.  I am talking about the price.  You do not need to pay a fortune to get a beautiful dress.  In this day and age and with Internet access the options are endless.

Regardless of your budget you should go someplace nice and try on dresses.  It’s a great experience and you should try on lots of dresses to know what looks best on you.  Many a bride has bought a dress she never imagined herself in because someone (usually a sales person or relative) made her try it on.

Believe it or not, some of the expensive bridals shops have good deals and sales on dresses so it doesn’t hurt to check and ask questions.  If you can brave them there are stores that have yearly mega sales that have brides lined up to grab dresses the minute the store opens.  More then likely though the best deals will be found at discount bridal shops.

David’s Bridals is a great place to shop.  While they do have some cheap quality dresses, they also have some great quality ones as well.  No one will know ( nor should they care) that you purchased your dress for less, unless you choose to share it with them.

Make sure to check out department stores too.  Macy’s has a great selection of wedding dresses.  While they may not be super cheap you can definitely find good deals there.  As always every store is different and it can be hit or miss so you may have to do a little leg work to get the best deal.

Online is also a great place to shop for your dress.  EBay is a great example.  I also like eBay because you can choose a seller with a great track record and positive feedback.  And you have eBay in your corner should a problem arise.  I have bought and sold quite a bit on eBay and haven’t had a bad experience yet (I never should have said that though, it’s asking for trouble).

I know a lot of people that shop through Craig’s list as well.  I am not familiar with them so I can’t say if it’s a good idea or not, but it’s worth looking into.  There are even some consignment and second hand stores that carry wedding apparel if that is something you would be interested in investigating.
