CD Wedding Favors
Posted on | May 26, 2009 |

CDs are a great favor to give at many different occasions, and a wedding is one of them. It’s easy to download the songs you want and put them on CDs. If you don’t have the capability to burn CDs, I am quite certain you can find someone in your circle of family and friends who can.
Creating CD’s for your guests can be a fun project as well. You get to pick the music and make a statement. Do you want funny songs? Are you into country? Club music? Wedding songs? A combination of all of them? It’s entirely up to you.
If you are into music and already have music downloaded on your computer this would really be an easy project for you. If you don’t ask around, like I said before you most likely have someone close to you who is into music and has already paid for lots of songs.
If you want to tackle this yourself and aren’t familiar with how to get songs it’s really easy. You can start here and here and here and here. These are just a few sites to get you started. You can search for others as well. Just be very careful to download legally, not all free sites are legal and this would be a very silly thing to get in trouble for.
Once you have downloaded your songs and burned your CDs you need to decide how you want to label them. You can buy great, inexpensive, Personalized CD Labels and have them shipped right to you. For the cost this is a really smart, easy way to go. By the time you buy the blank labels, design them and print them out it will be more expensive (and time consuming) then to just order them (don’t forget how expensive printer ink is). Save yourself the hassle on this one and have them made for you.
You can use a jewel case to store them in or go with a soft pouch. Either way is fine, it just depends on what you like. You can do a little more with a jewel case as you can design a cover that you can write a message on or list the songs. Use your imagination. This would make a great favor alone or in addition to other items.
